The Sky We Knew

What if the sky that once protected us became our greatest threat?

On a quiet night in Heidelberg, a group of international students gather for drinks, unaware that their lives—and the world—are about to change forever. When Felix, the socially awkward tech genius, makes an unsettling revelation about Earth’s crumbling magnetic shield, the initial skepticism of his friends soon gives way to panic. A catastrophic solar storm is imminent, promising to unleash a torrent of deadly radiation and plunge the planet into chaos.
With time running out, survival hinges on quick thinking, trust, and resourcefulness. But as supplies dwindle and the outside world descends into chaos, the group’s unity is tested. What sacrifices will they make to endure the unthinkable?

Set against the backdrop of an unraveling civilization, The Sky We Knew is a gripping tale of resilience, friendship, and the fragile line between hope and despair. If you’re a fan of post-apocalyptic thrillers that blend science, suspense, and heart-pounding stakes, this novel is your next obsession.

The Characters

A good author should be able to paint a vivid picture of any scene to take the reader right into it, live it, feel it. But a picture says more than a thousand words, as the saying goes. But even for myself I’d like to have a visual, so I created some. And why not share it with the readers? Is this what you had in mind?
